Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBohemian Rouge is 58/19/19/4 mix of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and petit verdot. It is an excellent vintage for reds, and this opens with a fragrant nose, desert sagebrush, and a rich hit of black and blue fruit. Plenty is going on here in a rambunctious young red, but I like the freshness that supports all the spice, chocolate, dark fruit, and fine dense tannins.
