Sicily, ItalyPouring a medium pink / orange hue, this nerello mascalese rosé shows a lifted, savoury nose of dried roses and scrubs with macerated cherries and strawberries. Slightly developed, there's some effervescence that gives some freshness to the palate, in a style that is dry but not austere. What stands out is the concentration, benefiting from vines planted in 1974, which is impressive on the 12.5% abv frame.
