Sicily, ItalyBush trained nero d'avola vines, 12-34 years old, are planted around 2km from the sea. This younger vine nero d'avola was macerated 2-3 weeks, and fermented and aged in stainless, to preserve the pure fruit. Potent black plums, thorny wild blackberry are infiltrated with a spice box of scrubby herbal seasoning on the cushy, full-boded palate, with sticky tannins tugging at the sides and dark chocolate on the finish.
