Barone Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico 2019
Tuscany, ItalyBaron Francesco Ricasoli is the 32nd generation family member to live at the Brolio castle. He also has resurrected the vineyards and farming, elevating the Brolio name back to respectability among wine drinkers. The Chianti Classico is grown on a mix of soils across the estate encompassing sandstone, galestro, alberese, clay and silt. It is stainless steel fermented and aged for nine months in large oak barrels. 2019 opens with a firm tight line of black cherry, bright acidity, and just a touch of that savoury forest floor underside. Well made and soft enough to enjoy now or over the next three years. Try with your next favourite recipe from vegetarian to meatballs.Tasted: 12 August 2022Tasted by: Prices:BC | $27.99 | 750ml | BCL Stores |
