Township 7 Provenance Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNot quite 2018, the latest cab is wrapped in cedar and menthol with red fruit aromas. 2019 was a mix of temperatures, a cool start, a hot early summer, a cool fall, and an early heavy frost. All that was preceded by vine damage resulting from a deep freeze in the winter, which led to staggering bud break and ripening. The wine is juicy and bright, with the alcohol moderate, but it has a bit of warmth and richness. If you are patient, this wine should come out the other seven years in the bottle just fine. For now, it's a wait and see proposition.Tasted: 23 July 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
