Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNBO (North Bench Oliver) is a 66/34 blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot, barrique aged for two years in 225L French oak. The fruit comes off the Blue Terrace Vineyard in Oliver and delivers a robust red blend of savoury, spicy black fruit. The palate is awash in dried fruit, dark chocolate, and a touch of balsamic with a blast of desert scrub seasoning. The textures are smooth, the tannins dense but round, but there is no rush to drink this wine.
