Stag's Hollow Albariño Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard 2021
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Stag's Hollow style is ripe and floral, with flavours of the seaside mixed with peach, pineapple, and honey. Its leesy textures and citrus undercurrent work to balance the wine and give it more of its albariño heritage. The fruit comes off Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard's gravel, till, and silty loam that seems well suited to the style. Albariño is a flexible dinner wine, and we enjoyed this with grilled eggplant and prawns.
