CrossBarn by Paul Hobbs Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Napa Valley, California, United StatesCrossBarn is as grown up as its label today, bringing a delightful sense of balance to its California cabernet sauvignon. Drinkable almost the day it is bottled, it still has the chops to go the distance if you are willing to wait. Red, black, and blueberry aromas float from the glass, and on the palate, more blueberry with a savoury graphite finish. Plush and silky, it slips down easily. CrossBarn is night harvested from select vineyards across Napa Valley. It gets a five day cold soak before fermentation and spends 18 months in French oak, of which 16 percent was new. 2018 is a highly regarded vintage. The perfect steak wine you can drink now or through 2028.Tasted: 17 July 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
