Corcelettes Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Corcelettes Estate Vineyard is on the Upper Bench in Keremeos and is a mix of alluvial Stemwinder soils and gravelly sandy loam Similkameen soils. The cabernet sauvignon, notoriously hard to ripen, had no problems on 2020, as evidenced by its almost silky character, definitely rounder than the cabernet franc. Look for cassis, black plums and a subtle savour olive undercurrent. You can drink this now or wait five years; it is your choice — expected to be released in the fall of 2022.Tasted: 12 July 2022Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
