Minimus Pinot Noir Dijon Free 2017

Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesNo Dijon clones were harmed in the making of this wine. Though Dijon clones are prevalent throughout the Willamette, they wanted to create a wine using only heirloom clones. This was a blend of Mount Eden, Swan, Mariafeld, with 30% whole cluster, aged in neutral French oak. Fragrant black cherry, wild raspberry, black tea flood the juicy palate, with finely sticky, long tannins housing the pure fruit. The finish lingers with dried florals and salinity. Quite lovely and multilayered, and a wonderfully different lens with which to view Willamette pinot.Tasted: 14 June 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
