Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDesert Hills always flies under the radar, but this franc should not be overlooked. The intensity is formidable and unleashed thanks to only ten percent new French oak in the mix. The spice and sunny black fruit are a good marriage; once it's brushed with some savoury sagebrush, it comes to life. The finish is long and persistent, with plenty of white pepper and enough acidity to offset the fruit.
