Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThis organic moscato blanco comes from Castagnole Lanze's calcareous clays, between 250-350m. The fruit was fermented cool in stainless, with no MLF, to preserve freshness. Fresh, lifted, and bright, with fragrant orange blossoms, cold cream, apricot, perfumed elderflower on a slight 5.5% palate, with ample RS to make this a dessert-driven pairing. Whatever frizzante was there has gently dispersed, leaving this with a mere prickle.
