Mayhem Cabernet Merlot 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 3 southern Okanagan vineyards, this 2020 blends 89% merlot with 11% cabernet franc. Both were destemmed and fermented in stainless, before resting for 5 months in French barrels (2nd use) before the blend. Once united, the wine rested an additional 6 months in barrel. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Soft black cherry, dusky blackberry is lit with an easy tart acidity, and framed with lightly furry tannins.
