Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFrom fruit off their estate Carlton Vineyard, as well as grower Huebel Vineyard. 60% of the wine was oak aged in older French barriques and puncheons for 9 months, while 40% was aged in an oak cask. The wood treatment is evident, with ample baking spices woven with baked plum and baked cherry. Tannins are pasty / sticky, taking this to a shorter finish.
