The Ned Pinot Gris 2020
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandPinot Gris is the forgotten grape in New Zealand. Often off dry, it never really had the same appeal as the best from elsewhere worldwide. I like this drier version, sporting a touch of copper in colour. Look for grass, nectarines, and quince with a lemon-lime pithy textured finish. A solid New World version you can serve with Pad Thai.Tasted: 16 October 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:CDN | $20.99 | 750ml | government and private wine shops |
