Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaReserve Cuvée mixes three main Blue Mountain vineyard sites growing clones 113, 114, 115, 667, from vines 22-35 years old. The style is plush and almost easy sipping for a Blue Mountain wine. The fruit is lively and full flavoured on the black raspberry, black plum side that gives way to a dry, earthy, forest floor finish streaked with smoke and umami. Blue Mountain Reserve Cuvée Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Reserve Pinot Noir is a blend of Blue Mountain's 3 key PN vineyards, and vines at least 26 years old. It uses clones 113, 114, 115, 667, destemmed and native fermented in open top tanks. Post ferment and settling this rested in new through 4th fill 228L French barrels, with gentle racking until the following spring when it was bottled. Plush and generous with downy black raspberry, damson plum, dark florals on a generous palate, framed with lightly toasted tannins. Quite a polished and sophisticated pinot for enjoying now or over the next couple of years.Tasted: 23 October 2021Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Reserve Cuvée draws from older plantings at Blue Mountain's Okanagan Falls estate, ranging in age from 22 to 35 years old, and this certainly steps up the concentration and intensity in the glass. The fruit's also more brooding, with the depth to carry the forward toast and spices. It manages to do it all at just 13% abv, with Blue Mountain continuing to produce some of the most balanced pinots in the province.
