The brew includes one part halted early to add a higher level of residual sugar, while the other parts were fermented in a neutral oak barrel and a concrete tank. The palate presents with juicy, crisp orchard fruit with a wisp of desert scrub. Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTheir classic riesling sources fruit from Blocks 1, 4, 11, 19, and 37, planted primarily in granite-based. Part of the ferment was arrested to preserve a higher RS, while other parts were fermented in neutral barrel and concrete tank for additional complexities. The slight bump of RS is well suited to handle the crisp, bright orchard fruit. Yellow apples, white peaches, bosc pear is dusted with talcum powder and white pepper, and livened with a lime peel twist. Peak Cellars Riesling 2020

Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom five different vineyard blocks based on granite soils, this riesling strikes a nice balance between the Block 11 and Terraces Rieslings. With just 7.5 g/L residual sugar, and zippy acidity, this is perceptibly dry but not austere. There are some of the lime notes of the Terraces riesling, with some of the riper fruit character of Block 11, showing honeyed stone fruits and yellow apple.
