Burgundy, FranceFrom 30 year old vines in the village of Ladoix Serrigny, on the Côte de Beaune, this Aligoté was fermented and aged in stainless over 11 months, and lightly fined and filtered before bottling. The 2019 has a fresh lemon profile, with lemon blossoms, ripe pear ruling a sleek, stony, lightly waxy palate. This finishes with a hint of creamed corn and a potent lemon peel twist.
