Church & State Wines Viognier 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Church and State Viognier is mostly fermented in stainless steel to keep it fresh, though it is mixed with 12% French oak barrel fermented juice. The result is a lively style that opens with a floral aspect before peachy, lime, melon, and tropical fruit flavours. Like last year it's not a lightweight version, nor is it a fat heavyweight. Somewhere in the middle leaves it a perfect companion to simply prepared seafood dishes.
