Terravista Figaro 2019
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFollowing the successful 2018 Figaro, Roussanne leads the blend again at 44%, followed by Marsanne (30%), and Viognier (26%). The first two grapes were entirely barrel fermented and aged on lees in neutral and 2nd fill oak, while the viognier saw only stainless. Quite tropical, with lush white peach, fragrant pineapple, lush apricot on a full, fleshy palate, lashed with wood, and finishing with a dash of coconut seasoning. This is a lot of a lot at this stage, with the white Rhone varieties really strutting their stuff. Try now with coconut curry / prawns, or let rest a little before cracking into.Tasted: 10 July 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $26.00 | 750ml | winery online/direct |
