Peak Cellars Pink Granite Rosé 2020

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is from Block 30 at Carr's Landing, which is rich in pink granite and planted entirely to pinot noir clone 828. The pale peach colour is from 18 hours of skin contact after whole cluster pressing. Compared to Peak Cellars' Pinot Noir Rosé, this is both more restrained and complex. There’s an attractive floral quality alongside pink grapefruit, watermelon, strawberry, and smoky herbs. Medium-bodied, and just 12.4%, it’s crisp and bone dry with noticeable concentration. A serious rosé that deserves contemplation, this is just as much about place as it is style. Well worth the price.Tasted: 15 June 2021Tasted by: Prices:
