Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis heady tempranillo comes off the Osoyoos east bench, a region with a smattering of plantings that seem to fare ok, surprisingly. As expected, this is a dense, full, and inky version of the Spanish super grape, with potent baked cherry, plum compote, espresso, and a medicinal blackcurrant note on the warming finish. Tannins are soft, and the palate is plumped, taking this to a drying bitter espresso finish.
