Moon Curser Tempranillo 2019

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis heady tempranillo comes off the Osoyoos east bench, a region with a smattering of plantings that seem to fare ok, surprisingly. As expected, this is a dense, full, and inky version of the Spanish super grape, with potent baked cherry, plum compote, espresso, and a medicinal blackcurrant note on the warming finish. Tannins are soft, and the palate is plumped, taking this to a drying bitter espresso finish. Nothing like Spain, but all to do with massive southern Okanagan reds, so if that's what you're looking for with your rosemary grilled T-Bone steak, try this.Tasted: 12 July 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
