Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Arise Bench, on their Golden Mile estate vineyard, this year's Saignée Rosé blends cabernet franc, syrah, malbec, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot fermented in stainless. Though the packaging is elegant, down to the glass vino-loc closure, this is a big, assertive wine, clocking in at a warming 14%. Ripe strawberries, strawberry jam, Honeycrisp apple and watermelon fill the glossy glycerol palate, dusted with pink grapefruit rind and subtle spice.
