Blue Grouse Estate Pinot Noir 2019

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaClassic Vancouver Island pinot noir in its delicate, pale, juicy, low alcohol (12 percent), high acidity and freshness to beat the band, as like last year. The fruit is red as in raspberries, black cherries, and pomegranate, with a smoky cedar underside, medium curry spice and light tannins. On the palate, the flavours persist, flexing depth and layers of more spice and a long warm finish. A much appreciated intellectual style of pinot noir that draws you into the glass wanting more. Salmon or creamy mushroom risotto would be a good match. Watch out, the world; you can buy 870 bottles of this delicious pinot noir or one bottle of Leroy Musigny.Tasted: 27 June 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
