Vila Regia Tinta 2019

Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalVila Regia sees no wood throughout the fermentation and ageing period. The blend is a classic mix of touriga nacional, tinta roriz, tinta barroca, and touriga franca. It is Euro dry with more red fruits than black, and plenty of balancing acidity. The palate is a cherry, leather, cedar affair, best served with grilled pork to break down the tannins and broaden the wine.
