Summerhill Pyramid Winery Alive Organic Red 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlive is an organically grown red that utilizes some biodynamic practices and preparations. The blend is a mix of syrah and merlot fermented in large vats; cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon fermented in stainless steel; all aged in large oak vats six months before the final blend was put together. It is a meaty, smoky, earthy affair of black plums and black cherries with little or no tannin, and a vanilla hit in the finish.
