Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom siblings and wine industry veterans Terry Meyer Stone (Anarchist Mountain Vineyard) and JAK Meyer (Meyer Family Vineyards), Mayhem Rosé 2020 comes from Anarchist Mountain and blends 95.5% merlot with 4.5% cabernet franc. After foot-stomping, this was fermented and aged 6 months in a mix of 67% steel and 33% neutral French barrels. Pouring a deep peach hue, this medium-bodied pink is filled with crunchy plum, red currant, and herbal desert sage along a slick, streamlined palate. Acidity is tart and lively through the lightly astringent, saline finish.
