Gold Hill Cabernet Franc Rosé 2020
Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis cabernet franc rosé opens with a medium peach/orange colour from 18 hours of skin contact. The nose is ripe with a dusting of the desert sage and grass mixed into strawberries. The palate is creamy and dense, with some of that skin contact pushing into the strawberry and tangerine, flecked with baking spices. The addition of some residual sugar tends to smooth it all out and will add appeal for most.
