Peaches, pears, lime peel mix with grapefruit and a touch of honey to take you on a linear path from front to back. Dry and ready for food, it is a nice step above the norm in interest. Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Kelowna estate and its loamy clay soils, this pinot gris was whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless, where it rested for a short stint. Yellow apple, ripe pear, honeydew melon rule the snappy palate, finishing with grapefruit sherbet.
