Arboleda Carmenère 2016

Valle de Aconcagua, Region de Aconcagua, ChileThis falls on the vegetal side of the spectrum, which is not altogether unusual for carmenère. There’s also a touch of stewed character to the black fruits and some graphite savouriness. Medium-full bodied, this is still quite firm and not overly generous on the palate right now. A bit of patience will be rewarded, though this doesn’t have the fruit to carry it further than 2-3 years. Correct, if a bit old school.Tasted: 22 February 2021Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
