Sicily, ItalyFrom 3rd generation winemaker Vito Lauria, Vino Lauria is based in the northwest corner of Sicily, though fruit for this organic frappato comes from the eastern island's sandy soils. This was fermented and aged in stainless for 8 months. Ripe cherry, candied strawberry, red liquorice, mustard seed is housed with tuggy, sticky tannins to a saline finish.
