Oak Bay Vineyard Gamay Noirtext

Oak Bay Vineyard Gamay Noir 2019

East Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSt. Hubertus has a long history, with gamay first planted in 1964 with followups plantings in 1990 and 1999, at 350-440 metres, over clay, sand, and gravels. It is fermented in a blend of stainless steel, French, and American oak. It’s not as juicy or vibrant as the 2018, but is a little more on the leaner, tart side that should appeal to the restaurant crowd. Good value and will age effortlessly through 2030.Tasted: 01 January 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices: BC 18.50 winery online/direct, select private retailers Producer: St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate WineryDistributors: Harvest Select Wines
