Hospices de Beaujeu Régnié 2018

Régnié, Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceBeaujolais was named after Beaujeu, its capitale city until 16th century. Nowadays, Beaujeu is not an important village nor wine producer anymore, but its Hospices continue to make excellent quality wines. The Domaine has over 80 hectares of vines, predominantly in Régnié. Soft and approachable, filled with perfumed red florals, juicy raspberries and strawberries on a cushy palate, and slight, long tannins that house this to a pink peppercorn dusted, lip-smacking finish. This charmer is drinking ideally now, and even better with some airtime.Tasted: 08 January 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
