Spier Seaward Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Coastal Region, South AfricaFrom vineyards around the Coastal Region, rooted in its decomposed granite and weathered shales, these cabernet sauvignon grapes began fermentation in stainless, and were racked to barrel after 15 days to complete ferment and rest for 14 months (80% American, 20% French, 2nd and 3rd fill). Soft and plush, with ripe black cherry, blackberry, streaked with wood spicing and wrapped with ample, plush tannins, finishing with pipe tobacco smoke. Best taken as intended, with grilled root veg or beef.Tasted: 13 April 2021Tasted by: Prices: BC 21.99 BCLS Select Producer: SpierDistributors: Whitehall Premium Wines & Spirits
