Sperling Vineyards Pinot Noir 2018

East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the Sperling family's East Kelowna biodynamically-farmed estate, these French Dijon clone 114, 777, 828 vines are rooted on calcium limestone soils. This was 40% whole cluster and native fermented, then rested in larger French oak barrels, with a small percentage of new wood. This pours a light crimson brown hue, with gently spiced cherry, raspberry, and baked rhubarb on a slender palate. Tannins are fine and lightly sticky, guiding this to a lingering finish.
