The nose is fresh with attractive black and red fruit, with vanilla and oak tones underneath. The attack is sweet with milk chocolate and cherries on the palate, which linger through the finish. Showy and hedonistic, this will appeal to those who prefer a bit of sweetness in the red wine, but a Grand Vin needs to be more complex and age worthy. Back to the drawing board.
