Gold Hill Grand Vin Family Reserve Meritage 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2014 is the third release of the Gold Hill flagship red Bordeaux, a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and malbec. The nose is active, showing oak and chocolate, and the palate is equally busy with lots of moving parts but not a lot of harmony or complexity. Spicy black fruit with a warm, spicy, alcohol finish at just under 16 percent. Too much of everything that will appeal to a small crowd, but I expect more from a Grand Vin.Tasted: 24 July 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
