Kacaba Effervescence 2019
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThe last time I tasted Kacaba's Effervescence was their inaugural vintage, in 2015, and the wine was white. Fast forward a few years and this is a deeply coloured rosé of pinot noir and chardonnay, in the charmat method, with 20g/L RS. Off-dry, with perfumed raspberries, strawberries, cherry flooding a juicy, frothy palate. The end finishes with candy apple and a bright twist. This has the body and intensity to take on some spicy fare.Tasted: 23 November 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:ON | $30.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
