Fontanabianca Barbaresco 2016

Piedmont, ItalyThis is a $35 Barbaresco that drinks like it could be double the price. It has an attractive, restrained nose of dried roses and dusty red fruits. There's real precision here, even if it lacks some of the expressiveness of top examples. Medium-bodied, with firm, assertive tannins, the palate retains its verve thanks to fresh, balanced acidity. Recommended. I know I will be seeking out a few bottles for the cellar.Tasted: 01 November 2020Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
