Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara County, Central Coast, California, United StatesFrom own-rooted vines off Happy Canyon Vineyard in the eastern Santa Ynez Valley, this was native fermented whole cluster, and then into neutral oak until the following spring. After a short stint back into steel for tightening, this was bottled. Tight, herbal cherry, with sapid plum, black raspberry, sous-bois, and a twinge of balsamic, this is a bright, brisk, and snappy naturalist franc, much more akin to Loire than anything I've tasted from Cali.Tasted: 12 September 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
