Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Thorny Vines vineyard, at the very southern end of the Naramata Bench, the site faces gently north and was planted to 21B in 2010 on fertile heavy clay loam. The north facing site gives this crazy acidity, easily cutting through the boggling 75.52 g/L RS. Juicy wild pear, quince, lime verbena quivers on the palate, with a thread of botrytis drawing this to a long orange rind finish.
