Storm Haven Riesling Dry 2019

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the first release of the Storm Haven wines for Synchromesh, coming off their home site. This spectacular Dry Riesling could be considered the GG of Alan's exemplary range, and is the result of 10 years of experimentation on the site. This Dry combined both press fractions as they were both proving quite complexed, with the blend whole cluster cold soaked for 9 hours prior to being gently pressed off into puncheon with the gross lees until the following July, when it was racked and bottled. A dry rarity from Alan, this streams with dry lime pith, subtle apricot, green apple, herbal Okanagan scrub, and a grippy texture that draws this to a lengthy white pepper finish. Hauntingly different. 12.3%, pH 3.1, 7.3 TA, 2.81g/L RSTasted: 27 August 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
