Nichol Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2018
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPlanted at the home vineyard tucked at the far end of the Naramata Bench in 1989, these cab franc vines are rooted into granite bedrock. Destemmed grapes were fermented in neutral wood and basket pressed into neutral French barrique, where it remained for a year prior to bottling without fining or filtration. Fresh and dried scrubby herbs scent wild raspberry, dark cherry, and fleshy plum on the medium bodied palate.
