Fitz Reserve Sparkling Rosé 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Fitzpatrick sparkling wine program continues to ascend the BC charts under winemaker Sarah Bain, ex-Central Otago (Burn Cottage and Quartz Reef). Bain’s Reserve labels spend a minimum of 36 months on lees, and you sense the effort the instant you stick your nose in the glass. The fruit is pure and refreshing, led by bright red apples and ripe watermelon that spill across this pale orange rosé. The combination of electric acidity and complex lees places it among the best sparkling rosés made in BC. Drink now or hold through 2025 with no issues. Salmon, turkey, or Dungeness crab all work here.Tasted: 26 June 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 42.45 winery direct Producer: Fitzpatrick Family VineyardsDistributors: Vintage West Wine Marketing
