Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia, CanadaStella Maris translates as Star of the Sea, and is the winery's flagship blend, changing every vintage. This year it is organically grown gewürztraminer, pinot noir, schonburger, ortega, and chardonnay, from their estate vineyards on Pender and Saturna. Bright and shining with orchard fruit, melon, grapefruit, white blossoms, on a coastal crisp and fresh, slender, just off-dry palate, finishing with lime pith and saline briskness.
