Cawston, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPouring a pale peach orange hue, this cabernet franc comes from a small block of cabernet franc on the sloping Pozza Vineyard, a cooler, higher altitude site in Similkameen's Olalla Gap, surrounded by desert scrub. Summer strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb glides across the doughy palate, with a pin-prickle of skin grip holding everything in place.
