Monte del Frà Bardolino Chiaretto 2017
Bardolino, Verona, Veneto, ItalyChiaro means light, or pale, in Italian, which perfectly describes this dry Valpo rosé of Corvina, rondinella, and sangiovese, from vineyards in Sommacampagna, southeast of Lake Garda. Pale pink in hue, with white cherry, rosehips, perfumed yellow plum, salmonberry gliding along the silken smooth palate to a spiced finish. Drinking beautifully now, especially with charcuterie.Tasted: 04 May 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $16.95 | 750ml | private wine stores |
