Look for fresh black plums dusted with light tannins and garrigue-like dried herbs. Indeed, it is the kind of red wine that will repay a bit of cellaring that you can buy at a bargain price. Serve with grilled lamb or grilled vegetables. Mas Donis Negre is a 35/30/35 mix of garnacha, tempranillo and splashes of merlot, syrah and samsó (carignan) that sees no oak.
