Free Form Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom certified organic fruit grown on sandy loam soils in Osoyoos, this was wild fermented and then aged in concrete for 11 months. It is a bright, lighter style of cabernet sauvignon, with wild red fruits and an undercurrent of stony minerality. The tannins are fine and uncharacteristically gentle, giving this a juicy, moreish character at only 12.5% abv. It’s not a steal at this price, but it has a lovely purity of fruit, though the style may not appeal to the stereotypical cabernet drinker.
